Since their formation, malago have gone from "bright indie hopefuls" to the "freshest breathe of pop-filled air to come out of bristol for years". For this, song writing brothers Sean and Alec Snook guitar/vocals and keyboard/backing vocals respectively, bass/backing vocals Miz and drummer Stacy thank the bands love of the "perfect song".

Their music has been described as "Beautiful, aggressive melancholic pop". It's precisely this combination that has appealed to audiences up and down the country whilst doing tour supports for bands like Redjetson, Duels, Crashland, The Honeymoon Machine, I Am Kloot, The Blueskins, Camille Miller and Electric Soft Parade.
